Worksite Criteria
- Gain senior management support
- Establish and lead a wellness team and hold a minimum of four wellness team meetings
- Develop and implement annual operating plan based on assessment tools
- Carry out annual health screening achieving site participation criteria
- Carry out one health promotion campaign per year achieving site participation criteria
- Perform related marketing and communication duties according to schedule and deadlines (i.e. post flyers, posters, bulletin boards)
- Attend annual Worksite Coordinator Training
- Meet and communicate with Health Promotion Consultant as appropriate
- Correspond as needed with all parties involved via E-mail, telephone and other written communications
Senior Management Criteria
- Create and support worksite coordinator position
- Approve an average of four hours per week to be spent by the assigned worksite coordinator on wellness program activities
- Provide in-kind services such as fax, copier, phone, e-mail for wellnessrelated projects, etc.
- Letter of administrative support of the wellness program accompanied by application
- Allow Worksite Coordinator to attend the annual Worksite Coordinator Training (at worksite expense)
- Approve health promotion policies (i.e. smoke free workplace, offer healthy food options)
- Support and encourage employee participation in wellness related activities
- Participate in program activities (i.e. annual health screening, one annual campaign, etc.) and educational programs
