PEIA PATHWAYS TO WELLNESS LIFESTYLE CHANGE PROGRAMS
The PEIA Pathways to Wellness Program encourages participating worksites to take advantage of our lifestyle change programs. Worksite coordinators, on behalf of their employees, may choose a maximum of one program per health screen year that incorporates a wellness tool. Worksites may also participate in the programs that do not incorporate a wellness tool as much as they want to. Eligible employees are those who have participated in a health screen within the last year (this may include one or all of the following: blood pressure, osteoporosis screening or blood work).
Please note that this represents a change in the way lifestyle change services are delivered due to the Improve Your Score program where participants may earn a monetary incentive check if they score in the Green (healthy) or Yellow (moderate risk) range based upon an aggregate score for cholesterol, blood pressure, Body Mass Index and glucose. Receipt of the check will now serve as an incentive for improving your health!

- Almost 80 percent of cardiac arrests occur at home and are witnessed by a family member.
- Only 6.4 percent of sudden cardiac arrest victims survive because the vast majority of those witnessing the arrest are people who do not know how to perform CPR.
